Urgent call: It’s the 11^th hour to Save the Yasuni Rainforest.

On April 11, Yasunidos, together with environmental, social, and indigenous organizations in Ecuador, will hand the government the signatures needed to call for a National Referendum to put a stop to oil exploration in Yasuni National Park, with the following question to the Ecuadorean people: Are you in favor that the Ecuadorian government keeps the oil underground indefinitely under ITT, also known as Block 43?

PLEASE JOIN THIS NATIONAL MOVEMENT.

Because protecting the Amazon and preventing a possible ethnocide of indigenous people in the area, should know no boundaries. We want our voice heard everywhere!

The Yasunidos campaign is asking for support from abroad to help ensure that the submission of signatures to the electoral council will lead to a referendum. They want those counting the votes to know that the world is watching.

Here are some urgent actions you can take to help support the campaign:

1. Send us your PHOTOS, VIDEOS, and MESSAGES OF SUPPORT saying that the OUR RIGHT TO A REFERENDUM SHOULD BE RESPECTED or “I SUPPORT THE NATIONAL REFERENDUM TO SAFE YASUNI IN ECUADOR”.
