Ksenija Hanaček obtained PhD in 2019 from Institute of Environmental Science and Technology Autonomous University of Barcelona (ICTA, UAB), Spain. She holds Master’s degree in interdisciplinary study in environmental, economic and social sustainability from ICTA, UAB and Master’s degree in Environment, Agriculture and Resource Management from University of Zagreb, Croatia. Currently, she is a researcher and a team member of the Environmental Justice project. Her research focuses on extractivism, relational values, decolonial environmental justice and socio-environmental conflicts in the Arctic region. She is also interested in applying and developing Network Analysis in socio-environmental issues related to extractive processes.
